Steven Flaxman

My name is Steven Flaxman and I am an experienced attorney with the passion to help my clients navigate their legal needs.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and went on to earn my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. During my time in law school, I was actively involved with the Innocence Clinic and participated in various moot court events.

After earning my law degree, I began my career working at a prestigious insurance defense firm where I gained invaluable experience litigating a variety of practice areas. Over the years, I honed my skills and I successfully represented clients in a wide range of legal matters including personal injury, construction law, and landlord-tenant disputes. During my time at various insurance defense firms, I was able to gain a deep understanding of how insurance companies value and defend insurance claims.

Later in my career, I transitioned to working on the plaintiff side of civil litigation in order to work more closely with individual clients and protect the rights of accident victims. My understanding of the inner-workings of insurance defense has enhanced my ability to represent clients in their claims against insurance companies.

My commitment is to provide personal attention to every one of my clients. Unlike the mega law firms, at Flaxman Law Group we pride ourselves on being available to our clients 24/7. We understand that lawsuits can be extremely stressful, so I work to ensure that the process is as stress-free as possible. Learning to listen is a lost art. I take the time to listen to my clients’ concerns to help them achieve the best possible outcome.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, fishing, playing tennis, movies, and I volunteer at a local aviation museum working with veterans. I believe that being involved in the community is an important part of being a good attorney, and I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around me.
