Our office is open, fully operational, and we are practicing social distancing. Please feel free to stop by. Our lobby is open and we have taken an aggressive approach to routinely cleaning and disinfecting the common areas. We are able to communicate with you through video chat, text, email, and by phone.
Our medical care providers have taken steps to ensure your safety by offering telemedicine appointments. You can also receive physical therapy in the comfort of your home. Florida Supreme Court Administrative Orders ASOC20-13 and ASOC20-17 suspended some courts and court cases in the state between Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, April 17, 2020. You can see updates for Miami-Dade county courts on their website and updates for Broward County on their site. Despite the closures, some online services are available through the courts.Will my court date be rescheduled?
At this time, it is likely your court case will be rescheduled. However, the situation in changing rapidly and we encourage you to check the county court websites or contact Flaxman Law Group to determine the status of your court date.What if I can’t come to court because I’m sick or quarantined?
If you are quarantined or may have the coronavirus, you should remain at home. You can still contact Flaxman Law Group to discuss your case. Currently, courts are not open and would not require you to come in.Will scheduled depositions, mediation, arbitration, or settlement negotiations occur as planned?
Some services will continue to take place virtually or through remote communication.
